The content and format aren't the most important thing to get right.
It's timing.
UAT is great, but workflow validation needs volume backing it when your organization is larger.
Otherwise stabalization will reveal what testing didn't, and documentation becomes an outdated artifact.
None of this is the worst part.
The worst part?
The lost buy-in.
It's hard to get that back.
